A wHAle oF a TiMe!

So every week i get to do "art and play" with the students.  "Art and play's" main emphasis is to have fun.  My boss told me this and I was thoroughly excited, and a weight was lifted.  However, my teaching classes stuck with me and I begin to create a lesson plan and a board of examples and yadda yadda yadda.  This class time is only for Kindie, not for elementary.

This is one of my favorite times of the week even though it is utter chaos.  The last two weeks we made paper bag whales.  The kids colored the paper bags and then we stuffed them, tied the tail and glued on flippers and a spout.  Overall it was fun, here are some pictures with one of the classes.

Jullian
As you can tell, this kid is pretty funny.

Oh Wiliam.  He would prefer to be called dinosaur, which is why
he has his mouth open and probably making a "RRRRrrrrrRRRRRRR" sound.
