Back by popular demand

Ok, not really, but it was worth a shot.

I thought I would give you a glimpse into my new life out west, well east from CA, but into the west.

Well, i think it has been over a month since i've relocated to the true wild west.  So far i've had dirt under my finger nails, gotten a great tan, bruises, scrapes, and a big fat smile on my face.  Just about every minute of it has been quite an adventure.  I have no sense of the real world and I'm lost in the past of the great west and the freedom of an open landscape.  All that surrounds me is God's glorious creations, cowboys, and wildlife.  Except for when it comes to my job or going into town.  Then it feels more like a zoo.

I don't think i realized that i was signing up to be a bartender.  That never really sunk in until i started my job.  I have the privilege of lugging cases of beer around and getting people completely plastered.  Luckily, its their choice, and I don't have to deal with their morning after.  All i have to serve is beer and wine.  It makes my job a lot easier.  If anything, the most important part of my job is to make the guests feel welcome and at home, and keep them happy of course.  And, i have started a nice callous on my thumb from opening beer bottles.  Hot, I know.  ;)

Instead of binge blogging I'm going to try and quickly go through my life in pictures and short stories, but first i'll paraphrase:

Million Dollor Cowboy.
White water rafting.
horse back riding.
camping.
hiking.
Granite hot springs.
Moose in Moose.
The Tetons/Jenny Lake/ Cliff jumping
Art Galleries

To make things clear here are some stats:

Location: Jackson, WY
Spotted Horse Ranch I live on the ranch and work 6 days a week
Job: Guest Services (which means i take care of the guests, mostly with beer and wine by working the bar and clean the bar and take out all the recyclables)
I live in a small log cabin.
Its about 85-90 degrees, other than random rapid rain storms
I've made friends with the staff here and the people across the street at Camp Creek.
I'll be here until the end of Oct, 99% of not coming home until then, and no, i don't know what I'm doing after this.
My life in no way feels real.

This is what i get to look at on a daily basis.  All of this is on or by the ranch:

All photos are taken with a film camera called an Holga, my new toy and companion.
