Our last Friday field trip we went to Emart (its kinda like Target) for a cooking class. It was pretty fun experience. Joanne was not there for personal reasons so I got to take care of Ginny class again (the kindergartners). It went better than i expected. There was a woman teaching and demonstrating how to make the cookies, but she spoke in Korean of course. So the kids would tell me, "This this (pointing to the mix)," or say, "Add egg." It would have been a bit hard without them. The teacher made the dough and then the kids got to make dough balls, smash the dough into a circle and then add mini chocolate chips, almonds and raisins. We had a good time together. It was nice to feel like i had a bit more purpose with my job, and not just standing around watching everything trying to figure out what's going on.

they made faces on all the cookies :)
our "manager" teacher would come over once in awhile if she wasn't busy to help.
