Nine

I recently learned that the number 9 is unlucky to Koreans.

It is the end.  The final number before something new.  So whenever you are 19, 29, 39, 49.....  All those years are believed to be bad luck years.  Where nothing good happens.  Good thing not many things come in nines.  I guess.
